Modified silane (MS polymer) adhesives and sealants represent the next generation of high-performance bonding technology — combining the best attributes of silicone flexibility and polyurethane strength in a single, isocyanate-free formulation. MS polymer technology is based on silyl-terminated polyether chemistry that cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture — producing no hazardous by-products. Surface Preparation & Usage

Application Guidelines

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contamination. Remove dust, oil, release agents, and old sealant residues.

On most clean substrates, MS polymer adhesives bond directly without primer. Conduct adhesion testing on the specific substrate combination if in doubt.

Apply using a pneumatic or manual caulking gun. Cut the cartridge or sausage nozzle to the required bead size.

Tool the sealant within the tack-free time (typically 10–30 minutes) using a spatula dipped in soapy water for a smooth finish.

Full cure is achieved at approximately 3 mm per 24 hours at 23°C/50% RH. Allow adequate cure time before applying paint or exposing to service conditions.

Store in cool, dry conditions below 25°C. Shelf life is typically 12–18 months in original unopened packaging.
