Surface Preparation & Usage

Application Guidelines

Surface preparation is critical for PU adhesive performance. Remove all contamination including dust, oil, wax, and old adhesive residues.

Apply the recommended primer to all bonding surfaces (glass, painted metal, ceramic frit) and allow the specified flash-off time before adhesive application.

Cut the adhesive cartridge nozzle to the required bead profile. Apply a continuous, unbroken bead without voids or air entrapment.

Mate components within the specified open time (typically 5–20 minutes depending on product and ambient conditions).

Do not drive or apply stress to glazing bonds before the Safe Drive-Away Time (SDAT) specified in the product technical data sheet.

Store in cool, dry conditions below 25°C. Shelf life is typically 9–12 months in original unopened packaging.
